Amendment 1
The 9th Amendment. "The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparge others retained by the people." In other words, it means that this amendment provides that the people's rights are not limited to those mentioned in the Constitution.
A formal amendment is a type of amendment that is added or changed to become a part of the written constitution. This is an amendment that goes through a lengthy process to determine to be in the best interest of the majority of the people of a union.
