The authors of the Declaration of Independence of the United States failed to address the rights of women, Native Americans, and African Americans because at that time in society, they were not considered to have any rights. African Americans and Native Americans were not deemed to be citizens and women were considered to be second-class citizens.

the authors did not put them in because women were suppose to take care of the husband. the African Amercians were slaves and the colonies twas starting to end slavery because they said that everyone on the land should have freedom. the native Americans were not apart of it because then the natives would follow the same pattern the colonists did to the British

The declaration of independence did not give freedoms to anyone, it simply said America was a free and independent nation from Great Britain, and was sent as a letter to the King of England. The Constituition granted all the freedoms we as Americans are given. It did not exclude women, blacks, native Americans or anyone else from any freedoms. The reason blacks were still slaves and women were not granted sufferage was because they did not have the means to challenege their oppressors with the law. When whites began trying to give blacks freedoms, which were in essenece granted in the constitution, the civil war broke out. </P>

In 1775 the people you ask about were not considered important enough to give them rights. All African Americans were slaves, women couldn't vote, own property, work, have a bank account and were chattel. Women won't have voting rights until 1920 . Native Americans had even less consideration and were considered in the way. The world of 1775 belonged to rich white men and that is who wrote the declaration.
