World War 2 took place between 1939 and 1945. However, the war was not reffered to as "World War" until late 1941 when America entered the war. The war also took place before 1939, between Japan and China, and Japan and Germany's other conquests that led to the Second World War.

Europe: Germany occupies the Rhineland. Italy annexes Ethiopia. Spanish civil war. Olympic games in Berlin were African beats a pure German in a race (Hitler angry) Franco gains the rains over Nationalist Spain. The Red Army gets thinned out as Stalin starts sending generals to labor camps. Germany annexes Austria. Hitler demands the Sudetenland. Peace in our time Chamberlain decrees. Germany takes over Czechoslovakia. Nationalist Spain finally wins the civil war. Nazi and Italy become best friends. Nazis become somewhat friends with Soviet Union and agree to divide up Poland. Britain tells Poland that they will help them in times of war. Germany Invades Poland. Britain, France, Australia, and New Zealand declare war on Germany. United States says "we are neutral". Canada gets around to declaring war on Germany. Soviets finally invade Poland. Poland surrenders to Germany. Poland divided up between Germany and Soviet Union. Soviets attack Finland. League of Nations kick Soviet Union out. Finland signs peace with the Soviet Union. Germany invades Denmark and Norway. Germany Invades France, Belgium, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands. Holland surrenders. Belgium surrenders. Norway surrenders. France surrenders and becomes neutral Vichy France. Soviet Union takes Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia. Italians attack British Africa.
