The allies were not on their knees when the US entered and joined the war. France's army was still functioning in sorts after their disaster at the second battle of the Aisne, and the French armys mass mutiny also but the British and Empire troops were fighting, holding and winning at Messines, Passchendaele and Cambrai and by the Spring offensive of 1918 the British Empire and France were holding and winning at the third Aisne and 2nd Marne, yes US took a victory at Belleau wood to their credit, but their biggest asset of WW1 was morale in their presence.
But the main reasons the Allies took victory was the Royal navy and BEF and all Empire troops throughout the campaigns in the world, also the French armys sacrifice at Verdun, also Italy deserve a share of the credit, but if America hadnt joined WW1 the British Empire and France would of filled the gaps, there was still plenty of fighting campaigners to call upon, having said that the American sacrifice is excellent and i thank them as i do all the allied soldiers of WW1. Lest we forget.

The allies also had many more countries on their side and Germany had very little help from the Axis powers. The Germans could not take on all of the allied countries because most of them were well developed for the time of the war.

∙ 15y agoWhen the Us joined the war, the newsoldiers were sent to the Western front. Where they and the French lead a series of attacks against the Germans. They pushed Germany back off France. And soon Germany called for an armistice (and end to fighting).

No. The Western Front was the most important aspect of WWI and whoever won here was going to win the war. It was basically where France and the UK (and later the US) and Germany were fighting, the three strongest and most important countries of WWI. If Germany won, France would've most likely been captured and the UK would've probably dropped out and the Central Powers would've won WWI. However, the Allies pulled out the win.
