Yes. The question isn't why African Americans do not have Jewish DNA, but more why doesn't Jewish communities have African DNA. Abraham was a Chaldean. Chaldeans were during the ancient time of Abraham, black. Therefore, his line will have black or African blood in it. Every time any commentator speaks of Sarah and Abraham being from Iraqi descent, they never take into account when the Iraqi's, Iranians, Arabs, Persians, etc. took over the lands that they have today. Those lands were first inhabited by black peoples or black Africans. Abraham was a Hebrew, not Jewish. Jewish identity comes into his line further down the road.

In addition, Jewish people of today and by extension according to DNA as they love to say; of ancient times descended from Aaron who was a Levite. Their Y-Chromosone Kohanim traces back to Levi. Some of the Levi tribe were priestly and some were not. The non-priestly Levites were to serve the other tribes. They lay claim to Judah's line which is where they get the idea of them being a Jew. But, I question the validity of this, they would have to do a lot of twisting and turning to jump over into Judah's line and from what I can tell, how they explain things, doesn't line up. In my opinion, they may not be a Jew themselves. Do your own research, don't take their word on everything that's being said or written. When Jacob was dying, he gave each of his sons their blessing. Simeon and Levi (brothers, same mother), he cursed because of their wickedness. They spoke corruptly and did other wicked things. Neither tribe received their own land and they were cursed to be scattered among the Israelites. So, when they say they were scattered, yes they were. They were dispersed among Israel.

No. All twelve tribes are from Israel. They are known as the twelve tribes of Israel, they all descend from Abraham's grandson who was named Israel. There are some offshoot religions that claim to be one of the tribes, or a "lost tribe" of Israel, but blood tests have proven they do not descend from Israel.

How did the Lost Tribes of Israel earn their name?

Where the kingdom of Israel was destroyed by foreign invaders and its people scattered, the identities of the legendary Twelve Tribes were seriously compromised and it became customary to speak of these as "lost." In recent years, some folks in places rather remote from Israel have been noticed as practicing Hebraic customs, some of these people even identify themselves as one or more of the "lost tribes." However, cultural diffusion is a tricky thing, as ideas can be passed on without exchange of the actual people. New sciences such a genetic profiling may someday give us a more definitive answer on who belongs to the "lost" tribes.

How do you find out which tribe of Israel you belong to?

Determining one's tribal ancestry in the tribes of Israel can be challenging due to the historical complexities and lack of comprehensive records. Some Jewish families have oral traditions of their tribal lineage, but these can be difficult to substantiate. DNA testing might provide some clues, but it is not able to definitively identify tribal lineage.

Are the Fulani one of the ten lost tribes of Israel?

A:No. The Fula people or Fulani are a dark-skinned ethnic group from West Africa, far away from ancient Israel. The so-called ten lost tribes are supposedly remnants of the Israelites who were deported from Israel after its destruction in 722 BCE. The true fate of the Israelites, a lighter=skinned Semitic people, was to become absorbed by the native populations of the regions they were deported to, such as Syria, Iraq and Jordan.
