Lincoln received 39.8% of the popular vote and 59.4% of the electoral vote. Lincoln received his electoral votes from 18 of the 33 states. He did not receive electoral votes from any southern state. Lincoln was not on the ballot in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Texas.
