I do not know about China, or if it is any different than America, but I have read in English that green signifies balance, growth, and calmness. Green rooms are known for making people feel more calm.. HOPE THIS HELPED!

since red is the most popular color,

which represents health, wealth and fortune,

however it does not mean that green means the opposite.
