Bantu migration occurred between the years 1000 and 1800AD when there was movement from different parts of Africa. The Bantu from the Congo or the Niger Delta Basin were the first to arrive followed by the Luo from Southern Sudan and then by the Ngoni from Southern Africa.

However there may be two versions concerning Bantu migration. Similar to the area already suggested, but distant enough to create a difference. The first suggests they came from West Africa around the Cameroon Highlands and the Nigerian Plateau. Another suggests the Katanga region in Southeastern Congo.

Linguistic clues have also revealed patterns of movements, similar words reveal common origins. Agricultural and herding methods also reveal common origins

Why did the Germanic peoples begin invading Rome lands?

These Germanic peoples had been part of a migratory period which had been lasting for a long time. There were migrations from southern Scandinavia to central and eastern Europe and from northern Germany towards central Germany. There was population pressure on the land. The Hun invasion of parts of eastern Europe increased this squeeze. The invading Germanic peoples were looking for new lands to settle. The invasions were more than just military actions. They were migrations of entire peoples.
