The three main greek gods are Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades. Zeus got the sky, Poseidon got the ocean, and Hades got the underworld.

In Roman, they would be called Zeus : Jupiter, Poseidon : Neptune, and Hades : Pluto. and there are many other Greek Gods and Goddesses.

The twelve Olympians are Zeus, Poseidon, Hades, Hera, Demeter, Hestia (though replaced by Dionysus), Athena, Aphrodite, Artemis, Ares, Apollo, Hephaestus and Hermes.

Zeus god of lightning, the sky, and king of the gods. Sacred animal is the eagle.

Poseidon God of the sea and earthquakes. Sacred animal is the horse.

Hades God of the underworld. Sacred animal is the black sheep.

Hera Goddess of mirage, childbirth, and queen of the gods. Sacred animal is the peacock.

Demeter Goddess of agriculture, farming, and grains. Sacred animal is the snake.

Hestia Goddess of the home and hearth. Sacred animal is the pig.

Dionysus God of wine, parties, intoxication, and drunkards. Sacred animal is the leopard.

Athena Goddess of wisdom and battle strategy. Sacred animal is the owl.

Aphrodite Goddess of love. Sacred animal is the dove.

Artemis Goddess of the hunt, virginity, and later on the moon. Sacred animal is the stag.
