No, but on a technicality yes.. I'll explain why. First off Napoleon's plan on how to ruin the economy by having nations embargo trade with the British failed. At the time Great Britain was the wealthiest empire on earth. As well most nations hated Napoleon as he was an upstart monarch with an nontraditional administration. So it was too costly to embargo trade with Great Britain as well no one cared to listen to what Napoleon wanted. But in the end the cost of war put Great Britain deep into dept which did wound the economy. Though as you can see today The United Kingdom is well and has the most valued currency on the planet.
