Through the use of his artillery corps, especially in sieges like those at Boston and Yorktown. The artillery corps also made a big difference in open field engagements, like those at Trenton and Monmouth.
Know and some of his men dragged cannon's from New York for more than 250 miles over some frozen river's and bunch of snowy hills to Boston
The cannons from Fort Ticonderoga in upstate New York, captured in May 1775, were carried overland to Dorchester Heights overlooking Boston, from which they could have shelled the city. A storm caused a British counterattack to be canceled, and the British forces in Boston (who had earlier planned to leave anyway) evacuated by ship on March 17, 1776.
George Washington and his continental army surrounded Boston with unloaded cannons. The British were unaware that they were empty, and they evacuated the city.then Washington took all of their cell phones
You cannot force the U.S. government to leave in the U.S. government. But if the state has a big enough army, with force, it could overtake by force the the U.S. government.
The Battle of Yorktown was fought because Lord Cornwallis believed that by having the British troops camp out in Yorktown Virginia they could force American troops to surrender control of the Carolina territories. George Washington marched the American troops into Yorktown and demanded that the British troops leave. This was the final battle of the American Revolution.
General Howe left Boston after Henry Knox brought cannons from Ticonderoga and George Washington deployed them on Dorchester Heights. From that position Howes ships wer sitting ducks in Boston Harbor. Howe also felt that Boston was a very difficult place to defend because of the hiily terain and many estuaries etc. Howe told Washington he would not burn the city if he were allowed to leave the city with his army unharmed. Howe did not know that Washington had no gun powder! Washington allowed Howe to leave Boston. General Howe evacuated Boston and sailed for Nova Scotia in early 1776. There he waited for the return of spring and the proper weather for campaigning (his main objective would be New York) and more importantly reinforcements from England.
