liberty means freedom and that's what the declaration of independence stands for!!!!

remember ur facts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<<Thomas Jefferson Defined it in the "Declaration of The Rights of Man and The Citizen" as: "Liberty consists in the freedom to do everything which injures no one else; hence the exercise of the natural rights of each man has no limits except those which assure to the other members of the society the enjoyment of the same rights. These limits can only be determined by law.">>In other words--the right to do what you want as long as you DO NOT interfere with the rights of others. The above taken from:How did the Founding Fathers define liberty and freedom

The Declaration of Independence started a war called the war of independence. This war separated America from the UK. Now the US has liberty from the UK.

Did you know that one of the people who put their signature on the declaration was George Washington. Another was 'John Hancock'. that is where we get that expression from.
