The American Revolution (1775-1783) was a colonial uprising against British rule, leading to the formation of the United States of America. The Texas Revolution (1835-1836) was a conflict between Texan settlers and the Mexican government, resulting in Texas gaining independence and later joining the United States. The American Revolution was driven by a desire for independence from a distant colonial power, while the Texas Revolution was more about local autonomy and cultural differences within a larger nation.
The American Revolution was different from other revolutions because it concerned one of the largest and newest colonies. Unlike previous revolutions, it concerned a colony that was in its infancy and that fought directly with its rulers to become completely independent.
Of course, America is a country, and Texas is a state (formerly a republic); but there are some similarities that should be considered first. The American revolution was fought to free the colonists from being controlled by England. When the colonists were victorious, they created the United States of America. As for Texas, it too was in a struggle for independence-- first from Spain, and then from Mexico.
But that is also one of the differences: the American revolutionaries only had a single country -- England -- to fight against. But Texas had to free itself from Spanish rule and then later, fight to free itself from Mexican rule. Once Texas became a republic, it began to create its own government, including its own president. The United States recognized the government of the Republic of Texas, as if it were an independent nation. But Mexico refused to recognize it, causing still more battles to be fought. And that is the other difference-- when America won the Revolutionary War, England did not continue to attack.
The Texas Revolution was "small potatoes" when compared to the American Revolution and both pale when compared to the French Revolution. The Texans mustered about 2,000 troops to face off against Santa Anna's 6,500 man force. The Texans had about 860 casualties compared to 2,500 for Mexico.
At its peak, Continental Army had 35,000 men under arms backed up by 44,500 men from the various Militias, plus 10,000 French troops (A total of 79,500) and during the eight years of warfare an estimated 50,000 Americans were killed.
There was the matter of size, scale and involvement with the Texas Revolt against Mexico being a tiny event when compared to the magnitude of the French Revolution. The Texas Revolution was also brief and bloodless by comparison.
I'm assuming you mean how all three are different. The America revolution was to break away from the Mother Country. The French revolution was to force the monarchy out of power so they could have a democratic government. The Glorious Revolution was to keep Catholics off throne of Protestant England because a Catholic heading the Anglican church just wouldn't work.
