PRESIDENT TAKES A STAND AGAINST TAX EVASION
A formal charge of wrongdoing by Congress against a President of the United States is called an impeachment.
In late February 1868 eleven articles of impeachment were brought against Andrew Johnson over political and ideological differences between the president and Congress.

Andrew Carneigie began to threaten workers at the Homestead Steel Mill saying he'd cut down on their wages. Many workers went on strike to go against this because they thought it was unfair. Purpose was the workers went on strike so the industry won't cut down on their wages.

President Clinton was impeached in 1998 on charges of perjury and obstruction of justice in the investigation into his relationship with Paula Jones, who had filed a civil suit against the President for sexual harassment. He was acquitted at trial in the Senate in February 1999.
