It depends on what is nationalized. In Canada and many European countries
nationalized health care (called Universal Health Care in Canada) has benefitted
more of the population because no one is left without any coverage at all.
On the other hand sometimes for specialized surgeries (called elective) the wait
time is more than one can bear. So in Canada there have developed a system
of other private clinics whereby people with their own money CAN go there
to get the surgery much quicker.
Also some of my friends have gone to Seattle or Bellingham, close to the
border with Canada, for surgeries of potentially life threatening things
because they would either 1) have had to wait longer for the surgery in Canada
or .......... ........... 2) the surgeon in the US had much more experience
So, regarding nationalizing health care, the issue is not simple. There are many factors
to consider.
This is likely the case with many many other potential nationalizing issues.
In Mexico the government has nationalized the oil industry so they control the
price. When the price of oil went so high and gasoline (made from oil) went
up to over 3.00a gallon in the US, Mexico kept the price at around 1.35 or so because
the government had CONTROL of it. Therefore the Mexican workers didn't suffer more
because of the world crisis in oil and gasoline costs.
Does that mean nationalizing is a good thing every time? No, often the thing being
nationalized could be run better by private enterprise. It is almost a case by case
issue, meaning there is no one way which is ALWAYS better to do it. Unfortunately
most countries either support nationalizition (like, Cuba, Venezuela and to a lesser
extent Canada and the northern Countries like Sweden, Norway, the Netherlands,
Finland). Regardless of what people will say, there is no definitived answer to your
question because, simply, the history of nationalization has been successful in some
cases, as the example above, and not successful in other cases.

It is good for the federal government to have special powers in order to uphold the constitution. If there was no central government, some state governments would treat citizens unfairly.
Among them are: to protect the rights of minority interests (not in the sense of race but in the sense of vested interest in various issues), to promote greater understanding, to encourage compromise where compromise would be beneficial.
The beneficial agreement is an agreement (who would have thought?) that means all the members of the agreement (if they bring money to the school) that makes them give some of their money to any of their friends.
Technically nationalizing gas and oil is very straightforward it is making an industry (here gas and oil) that is controlled by the private sector (international actors) into something that is owned and controlled by the government (national).. hence nationalizing. \ Now what the effect of nationalizing have on the country that is nationalizing and the countries that interact with that country is another question, one that I am still researching.
The French and Indian War was NOT a nationalizing experience because it led to taxation without representation!
Overseas jobs in government are extremely beneficial and not just to the government, but also to you. The opportunity to work overseas, explore the different areas and to learn more of the culture all are very beneficial.
Democracies believe it is probably the best and most beneficial to the people it governs. Other forms of government would, of course, disagree.
John Adams and Thomas Paine both contributed!
Did you mean nationalization? Nationalization is the act of nationalizing, or the state of being nationalized.

Try Communist Totalitarianism; we're merely under a 'dictatorship' at present.
