1. A president can only be elected to two four-year terms.

2. The House of Representatives may impeach a president, and if the Senate convicts the president, he is removed from office.

3. If the president vetoes a bill, each house of Congress may vote to override it with a 2/3 majority.

4. Treaties that are negotiated by the president will only become binding to the US when they are approved by a 2/3 vote of the Senate.

5. Federal courts and the legislature have the ability to review and render null executive orders.

6. The Constitution requires that in order to become president a person must: be a natural born citizen of the US, be at least 35 years old, and have been a permanent resident of the US for at least 14 years.
