The U.S. currently is trying to help the Iraq government fight back. We have the ability to pull out at anytime but the higher offices think that would be a waste of the last 7 years spent trying to find Bin Laden. The liberal reforms aimed to modernise and improve the health and welfare for British people. This was done after concerns that British people were becoming to un-healthy to maintain a strong British workforce and military which could compete with other nations such as Germany which were trying to compete in the imperilism seen in the 1800's.liberal reforms such as old age pensions 1908, free school meals in 1906, free medical care for children twice a year in schools in 1907, and in 1911 MP's were paid so less rich people could have a say in government affairs.
Militarism emerged as a consequence of nationalism and imperialism as nations sought to assert their dominance and protect their interests. Nationalism fueled a sense of pride and competition among countries, leading them to build powerful militaries to defend their sovereignty and promote national interests. Concurrently, imperialism created a race for colonies and resources, prompting nations to enhance their military capabilities to support expansionist policies and deter rival powers. This interplay ultimately resulted in an arms race and a culture that prioritized military strength, contributing to tensions that precipitated conflicts like World War I.
