A Soveriegn [A King or Queen, Leader, Emporer, Ruler, Board of Directors etc.]

Subjects [People who accept the Sovereign's authority; employee]

Statutes/Law [Policies which to govern Subjects; Work rules]

A territory [Land or other forms of ownership <think web server or business>]

A Seal [Signature, picture, signet ring; to show the authority in records, writs, orders, etc.]

Courts [Search "Court of Record"; To settle matters and disputes with or between subjects; To settle matter with another Sovereign's court]

You will also very much want these too:

Capital [money, land, property, assets etc.]

Dedicated Post Master [to send your letters]

Wise counsel [people who will help you make good decisions; usually older people than you]

Heirs

By yourself, it's pretty much running an "unicorporated business" [something public universities don't teach today?], which has lots of perks [maybe a learning curve too.. no worries], but you need to have good leaders along with you to run it, or kingdoms do crash and burn when bad politics sneak in and get in the heads of your leaders [and even you!]. [so always have good morals and honor life and other peoples relationships, or your kingdoms will loose their respect like others have in the past].

Cheers :)!
