Thomas Jonathan Jackson --- January 21, 1824 - May 10, 1863.

Thomas Johnathon Jackson, the son of indentured servants shipped to America as the sentence handed down by an English judge. He got the Stonewall nickname as the commander of the Stonewall Brigade during the Civil War. This brigade never retreated but always stood as a "stone wall" in front of the Union Army.
