Could be a garbled form of Tutor ( private teacher or instructor) or maybe the Tudor Dynasty ( I"m Henry Viii I am I am) Henry VIII ( The eighth) was a member of this dynasty- which died out with Elizabeth I in l603. Elizabeth is NOT considered to be a Medieval Monarch.
