Mother Teresa won the Nobel peace prize because she helped the poor, looked after the sick people and gave them a roof to put over their heads. She took people that were dying in the streets and put them in houses so that they could die in tranquility.

She also won the prize as she was civil and liked peace in the world even if they were a different religion to herself. She took them in and cared for them as if it was one of her own.
For her humanitarian work in ministering to the poor, sick, orphaned and dying in India and also her for charity called Missionaries of Charity. She also advocated for the poor and helpless.
