It was important for King George for his subject to pay taxes because the Indian war was very costly. He thought putting the tax on certain goods would help pay for the war. This only made it worse but he felt that it was right. For example the war was fought in North America so he thought putting the tax on certain goods in North America would help.

The French and Indian war was very costly and the King felt it was only right that the colonies pay their share of the cost of the war since it was fought in North America. he taxed:

  • the sugar act (anything with sugar in it cost alot extra)
  • the stamp act (if there was a stamp on it that said an amount of money, that is how much tax you would pay

i am still working on the rest of the taxes!! they will bbe uptaded as soon as i find all of them out!
