The way the sons and daughters of liberty caused the revolutionary war is they were a secret society created to currupt the British economy. They would protest and the women would weave there clothing because they would refuse to buy Britsh product.

The Daughters of Liberty was formed by a group of women who, by participating in the boycotts of British goods spawned by the Townshend Acts, proved their loyalty to the colonies. They were women who made goods such as cloth and yarn at home so the colonists wouldn't have to buy them from the British.
