he would go and hit on other gods which made hera very angry
When Hercules was a baby, he killed two snakes that Hera sent to kill him. He killed the Nemean lion, the hydra, and many other monsters. He also killed his wife and children because Hera made him go crazy.
Whom is "they"; I assure you that Hephaestus did not go where he did not wish to, save when he was thrown from Olympus twice once by Hera and then Zeus
His mother, Hera, was surprised that Zeus "gave birth to" Athena and Dionysus on his own. She instantly gave birth to Hephaestus. But he was so ugly, she threw him off Mt. Olympus.( some stories say that Zeus threw him off because he sided with Hera in an argument) He was then found and nursed back to health by Thetis, a sea nymph. He got his revenge by making a throne and when Hera sat in it she was captured in it. The other gods then persuaded him to let her go by offering Aphrodite in marrige. Since she was so beautiful, he agreed.

Yes, go to brothermalcolm.net for there names.
It has other names in other languages (for example, the German Stickstoff), but they all just mean "nitrogen". There really aren't any synonyms for it in English. At one time air from which oxygen had been removed (leaving mainly nitrogen, usually with some carbon dioxide) was called "phlogisticated air", but no one nowadays uses that terminology.
