YES!! Of course the Egyptians had a special way of preparing someone for death. Before they died they would have it all arranged and when they died the embalmers would take out all of their organs. And then they would place the dead body in a coffin to lie in their 3000 years. Egyptians were very big on religion.

DevinThere is little evidence that they were indeed put into the pyramids, but there are a few clues that the Pharoahs were put into the pyramids. There is the paintings depicting the Pharoah's and their travel to the after life. While A COMPLETE MUMMY HAS NOT BEEN FOUND IN A PYRAMID, there has been other evidence that the grave robbers destroyed the body (the egytians were supperstitous and belived that the Pharoah's sould would haunt them if they didn't destroy it's "Earthly Vessel"). The most likely answer is YES the Pharoahs were placed in the pyramids.
