Ahmose, or 'Amosis' I, was a Pharao from Egypt, he was the founder of the XVIII Dynasty. A descendant of the Theban royal house, he is recalled as one of the reorganizers of the administration of his country, and he also had to lead several war conflicts in his territory, such as the conflict with the Hyksos and his Campaigns in Syria and Nubia.
The pharaoh Ahmose drove the Hyksos out of Egypt. With the help of weapons and chariots copied from the Hyksos, the Egyptians succeeded in taking back the delta.
