The writers of ancient Rome created a multitude of stories surrounding Greek heroes. Examples of these are Vergil's Aeneid and Ovid's Heroides. These stories created a more in depth explanation of the Greek heroes and helped to form the 'Greek Heroic Age.'

Ancient Greece did not change into ancient Rome. It was conquered by the Romans and was annexed to the Roman Empire. It still remained Greece.
