Very simple clothing. Women had a shirt, a blouse and no shoes. Men a pair of pants and top and no shoes. They were lucky to get a coat or any extra clothing. Most had one of each and nothing more. I am not 100% sure. I believe, for women it would normally be a dress. For rich women it would be a gown type. But for poor slaves it would be just a grey dress & an apron.
