Cicero was killed by Herennius (a centurion) and Popilius (a tribune).

He was proscribed (identified as an enemy of the State) by the Second Triumvirate - Octavian (later known as Augustus), Marcus Aemilius Lepidus, and Mark Antony. However, it is said that Octavian was opposed to adding Cicero to the list of the proscribed.

Marc Antony had Cicero assassinated after Cicero wrote the Philippics, which was an attack on Marc Antony and proposed a celebration of M.A's defeat. He executed him in 43 BC at Formiae.

Who murdered Cicero?

Cicero was proscribed by the second triumvirate and actively hunted. A centurion named Herennius is reported to have killed him. His head and hands were hailed to the rostra in the forum in Rome as was done with all of the proscribed vitim's. Just a note: the hands of all the victims were not cut off and nailed, just Cicero's because he had written the Philippics against Mark Antony.
