Archaeologists have evidence to say that the reputed Minoan Civilization was severely damaged by the eruption of Santorini Volcano, which destroyed their fleet.
The tsunami caused by Santorini Volcano travelled and hit the shores of Crete, destroying the plantations, the crops, the ships and commerce. And not just one tsunami but several occurred.
Finally, the Minoans did not disappear overnight; they were attacked by enemies and had no fleet to really fight back.
