Perseus wasn't a superhero - he was just a person. And while he had Divine heritage, in Greek mythology that didn't necessarily mean anything. Perseus being a demigod had super human strength and agility/ relflex's usually displayed in battle. He is also a skilled fighter and appears to be a near master of sword fighting.
