The eleventh labor of Hercules was getting the apples of Hesperides which were a gift by Hera to Zeus. They were guarded by a dragon with one hundred heads and the nymphs that were the daughters of Atlas. Hercules had to fight Ares, but Zeus broke the fight up with a thunder bolt. Then he had to get the sea-god Nereus to tell him where the apples were. Then he was challenged by two of the sons of Poseidon to a Wrestling match. Then Hercules found Prometheus and killed the eagle that was eating Prometheus' liver. Prometheus told Hercules the secret. Hercules had to have Atlas go for the apples while Hercules held the earth.
