Sparta, Athens, Corinth, Delphi, Thebes, and Aegina were important cities in Greece. There were other cities outside Greece that were also important Greek cities, because of colonization, and these include Syracuse, Alexandria, Marsailles (called Massalia in ancient), and Naples (which was called Neopolis).
