A kingdom with advisers (monarchy)

Ancient Egypt would have been considered a Theocracy. A Gov't where the rulings where considered divine guidance interrupted through the use of clergy members. The Pharaoh was considered a living God, and his decrees where carried out mostly by priests in his court. Religion and Government was very close together unlike modern Kingdoms.

The pharaoh was ruler. He had men such as nobles and viziers and priests who worked for him, collecting taxes and minding various parts of the kingdom.
