It is the same in that they are both monumental accomplishments of human engineering. Both are made of stone. They are different in that they were made during vastly different periods of time, are in two distinct regions of the world, and were made of materials that are very different. The largest difference, of course, is their purpose. The Great Wall was nominally built to keep enemy forces from crossing China's Northern border, while it is assumed that they pyramids were built as great tribute to and to honor the deity-kings of Egypt.
