Its Odysseus, not Odyddeus.
One of them is where he hides himself, (or clokes himself with a magical item. One of the two...). And then he called him a name. The Cyclops, Polymyth, was angry, and asked, "who's there"? Odysseus said, "Nobody". Polymyth, being a cyclops, wasn't, the sharpest tool in the shed, and he thought "Nobody" was Odysseus's name. He threw boulders at the spot where he thought he heard it. That gave time for Odyseus to escape... Sorry, but I'm not sure what the second one was.

When the cyclops Polyphemus first finds Odysseus and his men he pretends to welcome them. Polyphemus then traps them in his cave and eats two of the men. Odysseus tell Polyphemus that his name is 'Nobody' and he then tricks the giant into drinking wine. Polyphemus drinks until he falls asleep and Odysseus and his men drive a stake through his eye. They then strap themselves to the bottom of livestock to escape the cave.
The cyclops is huge and can dash the brains of two men with ease. Further, he blocks the door of his cave to prevent anyone from getting in or out without his permission.
The cyclops begins eating Odysseus men, two per sitting. Odysseus and his men make a plan to escape, and get the cyclops drunk. They then stab Polyphemus in the eye blinding him, before escaping underneath the sheep.
