There are arguably more then one god of fire. Hestia is the goddess of the hearth but then there is Apollo the god of the sun and he has some power over fire. Personally i think Hestia could be considered the goddess of fire so Hestia is the answer to your question.

> Hephaestus was the god of fire as well as of blacksmiths and craftsmen. he granted power to blacksmiths and helped mortals to create useful items. he was able to create objects with magical properties. his symbols are the Axe and tongs. his weapons are his blacksmith tongs and hammer. he lives on mount Olympus, but his forge is in the crate of Mount Aetna, a volcano in Sicily. his parents are Zeus and Hera. he is married to Aphrodite. his famous creations include Achilles' weapons, Odysseus' weapons, Heracles' shield, Agamemnon's scepter, and Harmonia's necklace. because he was born ugly, his mother threw him from Mount Olympus. he lived in the sea for 9 years.

Hestia. Her Roman counterpart was Vesta. Essentially, they are the same goddess archetype, just different cultures.
