theEgyptians had used a wheel to gather water from the Nile when it wasn't dried up and the way on how they had cleaned up the water was that they had heated it up or boiled there water and then had cleaned it or cooled the water from time or during the night when it had gotten cold and had cooled off of the water.

ancient Greeks got their water in mountains and they were filtered with rocks and stones. it went through it and then they got their clean water served and brought it down to their home
