In greek mythology, Rhea was not a godess, she was a Titan. One of the very first, sister and wife to Cronus, the mightiest of the titans, and mother to Zeus, who rebelled against his father just like he (Cronus) had rebelled against his father, Uranus. Rhea represents the flowing of things, the natural movement and succession of everything (Rhea=she who flows) within time (Cronus, from the Greek word Χρόνος, meaning Time).

In the ancient myths there is no chronology.
