Theseis is the story of Theseus
Two women married Theseus. These were Hippolyta and Phaedra. Theseus did not have both as wives simultaneously.
For love of Theseus.
Theseus got his club from the first man he killed.
Theseus' flaw was that he was a liar. Whenever he said the words "I promise" it was always broken. He promised to marry Ariadne, however he abandoned her on an island on his way home. And he promised his father he would change the colour of his sails should he return home alive, but failed to do so and so caused the suicide of his father.
It was Ariadne, daughter of Minos, who wanted to marry Theseus. But there were other women in Theseus' life, both before and after Ariadne.

Hippolyta is conquered in battle by Theseus and taken as a prisoner. Theseus eventually wins her over with his charm and persuades her to marry him.
Theseus is a great leader. this is because he cares for his his people and enforces the law of the land. he is also a selfless leader because he wants everyone to be happy on his wedding day and he gives the working mens play a chance even though Philostrate told him it was terrible.
Hermia has three choices: 1) marry Demetrius, 2) be put to death, or 3) become a nun.
Theseus is a Duke in a midsummer nights dream. He wants to marry Hippolyta, and when he hears that Egeus and his daughter Hermia are having difficulties, he gives Hermia three options: To become a nun, to marry Demetrius or to die.
Hermia did not get her father's approval to marry Lysander in "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Instead, she eloped with Lysander to escape her father's demand that she marry Demetrius. This leads to confusion and chaos in the play.
