We don't know their names, and we name pots after who painted them, not who might have turned them. Without names for them either, we call them after characteristic or topic they specialised in, or where they have been exhibited. Examples are:

Achilles Painter

Thanatos (death) Painter

Berlin Painter

Pan Painter
