By Egyptians I assume you're referring to their priests, in which case, Egyptian Priests shaved their heads and every other part of their body as it was believed to be disrespectful and essentially against their religion to enter a temple with any hair.

Female egytians had long straight hair. Most all male egyptians shaved their head bald. It meant they felt superior and looked more civilized. Egyptians Female egyptians wore curly wigs over their straight hair since they liked curly middle eastern hair. Male egyptians wore a head dress and some times were curly wigs as a head dress. Egyptian sculptures show egyptians with straight hair though some paintings show egyptians with curly wigs and braids. Curly wigs were found in their tombstomb and eygptian mummies have straight hair. Male egyptians could grow their hair but they preferred to shave their head bald. They also were fake beards that were connected to their head dress since they could not grow a beard.
