Margaret Preston was an Australian artist who mainly painted still life. She did many paintings as well as wood block prints. One of her most famous pieces is her self portrait which she did in 1963 at age 88.

She was born Margaret Rose McPherson 29 April 1875 in Port Adelaide, South Australia.
