Any activity is a good career if you are happy and satisfied doing it free. Luckily for artists, they frequently find themselves doing exactly that. it doesn't sound like it because I've heard from people that they don't get paid till they die so idk and idk why some1 would pay another dude if they dead lol :l

Louis H. Boroson was my father. He was a commercial artist, but painted for pleasure in his free time. He is deceased. I remember the painting he made of Blue Boy.

I have a painting handed down to me of my grandfather painted by Cabebe in December of 19 47. The painting has been by my side literally all of my life. If not hanging in my bedroom as a small child comforting me as I went to sleep, then hanging in a conspicuous place in my home. My father tells me the artist painted the portrait from one inch by 1 inch picture of my grandfather sitting atop a camel in Egypt during one of the wars as an enlistee for the United States. He also told me that the artist only had United States military paint so completed this painting with military red military blue military black and military White
Can you send me an image to oldgalleries@yahoo.com
