This question should not be in 'English' history as England was not an entity until several centuries after Boudicca. She was a Celtic Queen of ancient Britain who harried the Romans for a short while, I don't think she was really important in the larger picture, despite the romantics view. (by the way - despite the American romanticism, Arthur was not an English king - if he ever existed- he was a Celtic legend - sorry Hollywood!!) England was not founded until the Anglo saxon invaders of the south made peace (of a sort) with their Danish counterparts in the east and north.
There is no such thing really as a true English history, it is a history of invading marauders or Monarchs who settled these shores. Even our present Queen, Elizabeth, is of German descent.
Boudica was good because she was the Queen for the Celts, whom needed help against the Roman Empire , she also fought to keep the Celts rule over England instead of the Romans growing power come to rule England . Finally she was intelligent , to men from those days she was more intelligent then women usually are. Including her husband Prasutagus died and she was the only royalty of the Celtic Iceni tribe to keep their independence of power and rule from the Romans.

One reason the Romans didn't like what Jesus said was because he gained the interest of the Jewish people. The Romans were afraid that Jesus would lead a revolution against the Romans to give power back to the Jewish people.
We don't know for certain how all the Romans fished, but Plutarch definitely states that they used hooks, ( in the story of Antony and Cleopatra's fishing joke.) It was entirely possible that commercial fishermen used nets, as the Romans, like all ancient peoples, were familiar with them.
