It wasn't as easy as many might think. Early in life princesses would be assigned a husband as early as when they are still in a cradle. Sometimes with men much much older than them, they did however have a good education including skills such as painting, sewing and singing and were usually quite intelligent. They also were provided with good meals such as meat, sweet pie, and salmon unlike the peasants who had to work really hard for there food.

I agree with everything above, however, princesses were also tutored in latin, dancing, etiquette, and arithmetic as well as riding, sometimes Archery, and they often had to learn one instrument. Sometimes the princess would go hawking during the day. They also attended dinners, and the entertainment of that evening. Betrothals were not always made when in infancy. Sometimes a princess would not be betrothed until her teen years. Betrothals were canceled, and made with other men. The betrothal was made to either strengthen or to make an alliance between to kingdoms.

She lived most times if she was favored by the woman she served in the outter room near her or in a room close by. If not they lived in the same wing or the building. Unless she was favored by the master as a "plaything" then she lived close to him. And if it was a king, she lived in a chamber most of the time ajoined.

The lady in waiting was a servant for a queen or a woman of very high noble status. The lady in waiting was chosen from among members of the nobility, because the queen was of such high status as to deserve only noble servants, but the lady in waiting would have had servants of her own.

Her job was to help the queen dress, do her hair, arrange jewels, do errands, and any other things the queen might want.

Her benefits included exposure at court, where she might meet important men to find a better husband than if she had remained at home. She also would have been compensated in other ways. Some ladies in waiting were much older, and these might have been compensated with estates of their own.

horrible, some of their masters treated them badly such as beating them, killing them if they done something wrong etc.

They also got nothing in return so they would rot away with nothing.

A lady-in-waiting would serve their lady - queens, princesses and other high-ranking noblewoman. This involved helping them dress, and generally doing whatever they were required to do.
