Well that didn't answer the question.... Usually a nun has a lot of chores. For example, washing and cooking for the monastery, raising the nessessary vegitables and grains, or Produsing wine, ale, and honey. Even providing medical care for the community, providing education for novices, spinning weaving and embroidering, or illuminating manuscript. The highlight of their day would be when all their is done. Unless they were used to doing all that work.
Good question. It would be devotion to God. Devotion meaning private time talking and reading the The Bible with Him. They pray to him walking around and such. Preparing meals too. Basically prayer to Jesus Christ. Also known as Jehovah Jireh.
Note: Johovah Jire is NOT Johavah whitness. Johovah whitnesses is an occult and they believe in 2 bibles. Some [not all] believe good deeds can get you to Heaven. That is incorrect. Only the grace of God can if you accept Him as your Lord.
Monks and nuns prayed often. There was a regular schedule of prayers in many monasteries that called for prayers every four hours, so they even had to get up to pray at midnight.
Each person in the monastery had jobs to do. Some worked in agriculture, supplying the monastery with food and other products. Some cooked. Some made cheese, wine, or beer. Some copied books, especially bibles, and this was an important source of income for a monastery. Some tended the sick, both those in the monastery and people who lived nearby. Some were expert in medical herbs and raised them
There were monastic orders devoted to protecting pilgrims, as the Knights Templar, and these monks wore armor and carried weapons. They went into battle and fought as soldiers.
There were orders devoted to providing inns for pilgrims, as the Knights Hospitaller. They did things as other monks did, but cooked and cleaned and tended the inn for passers by.
A good example of a nun, which shows her life, was St. Hildegard von Bingen. She tended the sick, raised herbs, wrote books on herbs, wrote letters to kings and emperors, had visions and recorded them, and composed music, including a play set to music, which we still have. I have provided a link to an article on her below.

If they all lived, yes.
Because they had to work a lot.
Hrotsvitha was very early. She was a nun. Hildegard of Binged was another nun, who was famous for writing plays, at least one of which was set to music she composed. The Wakefield Master, whose identity is unknown, wrote some plays in the Wakefield Cycle. John Bale was an English playwright who wrote a verse play on the life of King John in English. Adam de la Halle was French. He wrote a musical play, "The Play of Robin and Marion." Most medieval playwrights were anonymous.
