I'm in 5th grade so this may not be all of them. I know that Great Britain, France, and the Soviet Union were fighting the Nazis (Germans). Japan was terrorizing a lot of Asian countries such as China, Burma (now called Myanmar), Mongolia and there were lots of little resistance groups. Small but annoying. There was also resistance in Poland and Ukraine.Japan crippled us on Pearl Harbor Day before we could strike. But in the end we still won.

The USSR started as an ally of Germany - then Hitler turned against Russia with an invasion that nearly succeeded. The only European ally of Germany was Italy, under the Dictatorship of Mussolini and his (original) Fascist Party, though Hitler ensured France, after capture, was governed by French supporters of the Nazis.
