The pros and cons of the atomic bomb are greatly debated. Some say that there were less U.S. casualties because of the bomb, which ended the war quickly. It would also make us look powerful and mighty. Without the bomb, we would look defenseless. So much money was spent to research and build the bombs that we figured that we might as well use them, or it would look like we were just wasting money.
On the other hand, innocent civilians' lives would be lost, the power and potential of the full-scale bomb is truly unknown. The bomb would give the U.S. a savage and immoral image, and would leave great devastation in the affected country, giving us a bad reputation, possibly causing the opposite of the wanted effect. It could cause a larger war involving more countries.
PROS: -they had many alliances -reputation of a strong country -land could be gained CONS: -loss of military strength -loss of money -death -would make a distraction for more important problems on our country. PROS -
because the bigger it is, the more thing inside it can hold and the more destruction it will have.
The US did not drop atomic bombs on Germany although the original purpose of the Manhattan Project was to develop a bomb before the Germans did. However, as the war went on Germany had to redirect recourses to other areas so they never succeeded in developing an atomic bomb. Once Germany surrendered, and the atomic bomb was successfully tested in New Mexico, the possibility existed of using it against Japan. And that is what happened
Answer by an editor: No one wants to use an atomic weapon, particularly the nuclear missiles we have now in the world. The weapons of today can destroy 1/3 of the world so they are not fired.
Yes and we were committed to carrying out all of them, but the atomic bomb was used first and Japan surrendered so none of the other choices were needed, thus saving many millions of lives on both sides and ending the war at least a year sooner than anyone expected.a Japanese D-Day invasion landingchemical weapons attacks on Japancontinued 1000 plane firebombing raidsetc.
26 i think so if u get any new atomic no. inform me.
Atomic mass= Atomic no. + no. of neutrons So when the atomic no. is subtracted from the atomic mass, the result would be equal to the number of neutrons present in the nucleus of the atom of the element.
For any periodic element, its atomic number correlates directly with its number of protons. Thus, an element with an atomic number of six has six protons, with an atomic number of seven, seven protons, and so on.
An atom contains Protons, Neutrons and Electrons the atomic number is the protons and neutrons combined, the number of protons in the atom is equal to the total number of electrons in the atom which are aranged in the outer shells at 2,8,8,8,8 and so on to find the totoal number of protons in the neucleus of the atom you take the atomic mass and minus the atomic number from it. so He or Helium is 4.0026 atomic mass and 2 for atomic number and so has 2 protons and so in turn has 2 electrons.
Atomic number depends on the number of protons and it doesn't matter how many neutrons there are in that case. Neutrons only contribute to the atomic weight. The atomic number is the same as any other atom of carbon: 6.
The atomic mass is usually stated in grams if in any unit other than simply atomic mass units. Anything expressible in grams is also expressible in kilograms, so the answer is yes.
The atomic weight of any given isotope of an element is the result of the protons and the neutrons. The number of protons is the same as the atomic number, so if you subtract the atomic number from the atomic weight, voila, there is the number of neutrons. Bear in mind that elements have more than one isotope, and each isotope has a different number of neutrons. So the atomic weight is the result of a mixture of isotopes that appear in nature.
Radon, unless you count the synthetic Ununoctium. But because it is radioactive, highly unstable, and synthetic, I would discount it for now. It does however have the largest atomic mass for any known atomic substance. So, the answer is Radon.
Singapore has never had nuclear weapons of any kind, so they couldn't use them.
So pros can play basketball
no of electrons in any atom is equal to the atomic number of that element so no of electron is 80
Pros are good things about something. Cons are bad things about something. So the pros and cons of an operating system are the good and bad things about it.
