I'm not sure if this is exactly what happened, but supposedly German troops attacked a radio station in an ethnicly German part of Poland. Then they put Polish uniforms on dead civilians and announced that the Polish army had attacked the station. Then they invaded Poland to 'protect' the Germanic people living there.
That question is debatable, if you are talking about what was the first act of war during WW2, it would be when Hitler killed German prisoners dressed them up in polish uniforms and placed them across the German polish border (he used this scheme to say that the pollish where invading Germany)
No, it started formally when Hitler ordered a faked Polish attack (by German soldiers wearing Polish uniforms) on a German radio station on September 1, 1939 (although fighting had been going on for several years before that between Italy & Ethiopia and Japan & China). In "retaliation" for this faked attack, Hitler declared war on Poland and invaded. The war was ended by the first use of atomic bombs ever in combat when two bombs were dropped on Japanese cities: Hiroshima on August 6, 1945 & Nagasaki on August 9, 1945.
Hitler considered people with Blonde hair, blue eyes and German were perfect. But he dident kill any Germans unless they were Jewish. But Hitler himself was none of the above, he had brown hair, green or brown eyes and was intact not German but polish or Austrian. Hope I helped :D
He targeted all Polish cities (eventually).
Many people think Hitler simply killed all Jews. Not true. Jewish kids were often (especially small ones) put into German families, were they were raised in a traditional German way away from all the "bad influence from the Jews". They mainly did that to not lose future soldiers or workers.

Truthfully, Hitler wanted to occupy Poland. There was no specific incidents that caused the German Invasion. It was just part of Hitler's plan to take over all of Europe.___There was a specific incident called the Gleiwitz incident. Hitler wanted a pretext for the invasion. He sent the Gestapo disguised as Polish soldiers to attack and destroy German property along the German Polish border. This was used as an excuse to invade, giving the illusion Germany was just defending itself.

The 1934 German-Polish Treaty was a vehicle to keep Poland neutral, as Hitler expanded the borders of Germany. Without a struggle Hitler gained control of Austria and the Sudetenland. Both were populated with ethnic Germans.
German soldiers disguised themselves as Polish soldiers and attacked a German radio station to give reasoning to invade Poland.
The holocaust was Hitler's mass extermination of Jews, gays, the Polish, and anyone he thought was inferior, aka, not German.
Polish soldiers attacked German civilians in Gdansk, and Hitler reacted to this provocation by whiping Poland off the map in less than a week. British and French then attacked Germany, while Stalin abstained.
The excuse he gave to the German people was to give them "living space". In other words, he expected to replace Polish people with German people.
No, he was Austrian.
So first the war was declared by Germany after they put German soldiers into Polish uniforms and let them attack a German Radio Station. Officially they just "defended" themselves after the "Polish attack". That was September 1st 1939.So you can see that Germany made that reason up. The real purpose of attacking Poland and so many other countries was to get more land and space for the German people. It became a World War when the rest of Europe got involved.
Hitler killed several kinds of Jews, including Polish Jews and German Jews. Hitler also killed Germans who were sympathetic to Jews.
that would be the ghettos.
